These are the Core Tenets of myHESTIA:
Self-care is difficult and you need to work on it daily.
Self-care requires learning, training and support.
Self-care requires reflective thinking -What works for others may not work for you, YOU need to find what works for you.
Self-care needs to be comprehensive and integrative. All data needs to be comprehensive and integrated in one place.
Reflective thinking, evaluating and journaling should be part of your self-care routine.
You are the boss of your body - you should know much more about it than your physician does.
A good boss LISTENS. Your body is constantly sending you clues - writing them down and evaluating them should be an important part of self-care.
Your personal health data is precious - not only for you, but also for your next generation (they will know what you went through and what all things they need to look out for that might be genetic).
Such Patient Generated data is also useful for your physicians for diagnosis and treatment and helps with your communication with your physician.
Home is where 80% of the care happens and all your data about you should to be there with you.
my HESTIA is specifically for those who are dealing with multiple chronic conditions/issues, for those who want to take charge and understand what is going on, for those who want to take preventive steps and for those who are doing daily journals (or want to start daily journaling). If you think that means YOU, please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org
for using myHESTIA.
