Alyssa Niebuhr is a senior at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee earning a Bachelor's of Science in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Business. Alyssa has a passion for patient experience and satisfaction in long-term care facilities and chose this path with a desire to empower older adults and allow them to be the driving force in their own care plans. When she isn't working to create new perspectives on patient care, Alyssa enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family. In working for myHESTIA, Alyssa hopes to gain a greater understanding on the lasting effects of technology, including social media, in the lives of older adults and their health.
Neelima Gayathri is a graduate student at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee's Masters in Health Administration (MHA) program. Neelima has a background in dentistry and worked in a clinic in India as a dentist. She loves interacting with patients and improving patient experience for seniors and vulnerable population. Being quite close to her grandmother who has had to go through a lot of health issues, she firmly believes that elders across the world need to have a greater say in policies and care plans. Apart from work, Neelima loves to dabble with sketching, painting and follow travel and fashion bloggers. She hopes that by working in myHESTIA, she will be able to learn how to utilise social media and technology to help empower not just the elderly but also other vulnerable populations.
